EMPOWERING REFUGEE CHILDREN THROUGH EDUCATION
WELCOME TO HOKMAH LEARNING CENTRE

Our Vision
Our vision is to create a world where every refugee child has access to quality education, regardless of their background or circumstances. We aspire to be a beacon of learning, wisdom, and inclusivity, where children from diverse cultures come together to grow academically, socially, and spiritually. By fostering a community of support, compassion, and lifelong learning, we envision our students becoming empowered individuals who contribute positively to society and inspire change in the world.

Our Purpose and Philosphy
Hokmah, meaning wisdom in Hebrew, reflects the school's mission to impart not only worldly knowledge but also wisdom rooted in the reverence of God. The central book in the logo symbolizes both the Bible and academic learning, representing Hokmah Refugee School as a place where knowledge and words are cultivated.

Our Students
The students at the school are mainly Myanmar students (Zomi, Mon, Hakka, Minta, Karen, Rohingya, Myanmar Muslim, etc.) and there are children of various ethnic groups. This May, it will be 7 years since it opened, and it is one of the refugee schools registered with the UNHCR's education department. There are children from 4 to 16 years old, about 65 in kindergarten and 35 in elementary school.
