About Hokmah Learning Centre

The students at the school are mainly Myanmar students, including but not limited to Zomi, Mon, Hakka, Minta, Karen, Rohingya, and Myanmar Muslim. There are also children of various ethnic groups.

May of 2025 will mark our 7th year since we opened back in 2018, and it is one of the refugee schools registered with the UNHCR's education department. There are children from 4 to 16 years old, about 65 in kindergarten and 35 in elementary school. Every day is another day for these students to learn and have fun in a safe environment. Service is at the core of what we do and we take pride in being able to put a smile on their faces.
